There are many ways that an individual can be involved with Tallgrass Theatre:
- Donate through monetary or in-kind gifts toward the production or promotion of a theatre event
- Help behind-the-scenes by contributing to set design or helping run aspects of a production
- Attend a performance
- Audition for a show
Interested in working backstage on a show?
We are always looking for designers, dressers, run props, shift crew, light and sound board operators

Build Days work call schedule for set construction
Come for an hour or two, or half a day or the whole day. You set your schedule, and we will get you started when you get here. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring work gloves if you have them. Tools will be provided but please bring your own if that would make you feel more comfortable. No previous experience needed. We have great technical directors and experienced people to help you. Bottled water is available, and lunch will be provided.
Build/Paint Days will be on Saturdays from 9am – 4pm for the following dates: Stay tuned for upcoming dates!
Front of House Volunteer Opportunities
If you are interested in volunteering to work Front of House for performances, we are always looking for greeters and ushers for each performance. You would have the opportunity to watch the show for your appreciated help.
