9th Annual Frank & Balcombe Dream Project
Performance dates: February 2-18, 2024
Director and Dreamer: Bob Baskerville
Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM

Dr. Martin Dysart, a psychiatrist, is confronted with Alan Strang, a boy who has blinded six horses in a violent fit of passion. This very passion is as foreign to Dysart as the act itself. To the boy’s parents, it is a hideous mystery; To Dysart, it is a psychological puzzle that leads both doctor and patient to a complex and disturbingly dramatic confrontation.

The Good Doctor by Neil Simon and Anton Chekhov
Performance dates: April 19 – May 5, 2024
Directed by: Shawn Wilson
Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM
Sunday at 2:00PM
This show is a composite of Neil Simon and Anton Chekhov. In one sketch, a feisty old woman storms a bank and upbraids the manager for his gout and lack of money. In another sketch, a crafty seducer goes to work on a wedded woman, only to realize that the woman has been in command from the first overture. And let us not forget the classic take of a man who offers to drown himself for three rubles. The stories are droll, the portraits affectionate, the humor infectious, and the fun unending.
