AUDITION TIPS

  • To film your audition, use a smartphone, tablet, or computer to film your audition (horizontal orientation is always best)
  • State your name and what you will be singing at stage volume and clarity at the beginning of your video
  • Please film in a tight to medium frame from the chest up. Choose a quiet room with a neutral background and good lighting that doesn’t cast shadows in your video.
  • If using accompaniment or karaoke track, take the time to do a test video to check the balance of your singing voice and the accompaniment or track. Be sure your voice can be heard clearly above your accompaniment or karaoke track.
  • Remember to have fun!
